As you all know, we are in a challenging time when it comes to health care and our ability to look things up online, and then there's AI... In my experience as a practitioner, "most" people have already made up their mind before they even arrive to an appointment. They have either looked it up online, used AI to save their life, or are skeptical of any practitioner they visit. I do not want to work with people like this at all. I've been burnt out on health care for years and I'm seeking a CTE Health instructor teaching position in local high schools. I live in a very very small community and with the failing economy it doesn't offer me a real paycheck. Fortunately, I have had for many years a strong interest in teaching. My plan is to land a job teaching and to do some online visits as well. We are in a time where people want something different, better, however you want to call it. But, so many either aren't ready or don't want to try something different when it comes to their health. Even when that is what they say they want, something different. I understand very well that budgets are tight, the insurance industry has conditioned the masses to only obtain "healthcare" from clinics/hospitals that accept their insurance plan. For 10+ years I've been successful at 98+ chiropractic and 2% functional medicine. Oh, I'm also in the great state of California. Insurance plans don't seem to pay for anything anymore, I've stayed away from insurance because it's a very biased and controlling system. So with this back story, how do you all deal with people that want care, but seem to have already made up their mind. My patience is running very thin. Thank you all! Noah
