Choosing Baby Names
Is “easy to spell” something you consider when choosing a name? I have two children , one with an easy to spell names and the other with a variation on spelling.

Choosing Baby Names
Community Question
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one... I was speaking with a first-time mum yesterday who's currently 38 weeks pregnant. She's excited to meet her baby, but every day she's getting messages like... "Any baby yet?" "Still pregnant?" "Thought you'd have had the baby by now!" Instead of feeling excited, she's starting to feel impatient (and super frustrated with her friends and family!!), like she's somehow "late" even though she's still within a completely normal timeframe. If she was your friend, what's one thing you'd say to reassure her? 💛

❓Finish this sentence...
Nobody warned me that ________________________. I'll go first... 🫣Nobody warned me how many myths I'd spend my career busting. After 21 years of supporting expectant and new parents, I've heard some incredible myths about pregnancy, birth, newborns, and parenting! Now it's your turn... What's something nobody warned you about? It could be something you've discovered during pregnancy, something you've heard that surprised you, or something you wish someone had told you sooner. There are no right or wrong answers, and no judgement here. Sometimes the most reassuring thing is realising someone else is thinking the exact same thing. I'm looking forward to reading your responses... and who knows, a few of those myths might even inspire a future post!

This isn't just a book about birth...
The more I've written, the more I've realised that's exactly why it's called More Than Birth. Yes, it's about preparing for labour. But it's also about relationships. Confidence. Recovery. The newborn days. Growing into parenthood. After 21 years of supporting more than 5,500 parents, I wanted to create the book I wish every family could take home when they find out they are pregnant and I realised there were so many conversations I wanted families to have access to long after they left my classes. Not just information about labour and birth. But the things people often don't talk about enough. The emotional side of becoming a parent. Building confidence. Relationships. Recovery. The newborn days. The moments that make you laugh, question yourself, and grow. Writing it has been a much bigger project than I ever imagined, but seeing it slowly come together has been incredibly rewarding. I'd love to know... If you could include one chapter in a book about pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, what would it be? Or... What's one thing you wish someone had told you before your baby arrived? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

❓What is one thing you're currently overthinking?
It could be: • Labour • Pain relief • Feeding • Sleep • Hospital bags • Visitors • Going back to work • Something completely different Sometimes simply saying it out loud helps. What's been taking up space in your head lately?
