Y’all, let’s talk about money walking right out your back door. Say you get paid $8 for a meal that costs you $8.15 to make. You lost 15 cents. No big deal, right? Wrong. Watch this: 🍽️ 15 cents x 500 meals = $75 lost in one day 📅 $75 x 5 days = $375 lost in one week 📆 Over a year = $19,500 gone That’s a part-time employee. For some of us, that’s a full-time one. And most programs don’t even know it’s happening. But here’s the one that really hurts. 👇🏾 I worked with an organization that was expecting a $100,000 reimbursement check. They’d already cooked the food and served the meals. But for about 90 days, the paperwork wasn’t done to prove those meals were served. So that check never came. We worked together for about 90 days and recovered around $33,000 of it. That’s a win. But that still left a whole lot of money on the table, all because of a gap in their system. Here’s the lesson: being promised the money doesn’t mean you’ll get it. Your paperwork has to prove every single meal you served. 🎥 I break it all down in the full video here in our classroom: "The Money is on the Table Free Replay" Now tell me in the comments 👇🏾 Have you ever served meals you never got paid for?
