And There He Was.
I saw David recently at the BBE event, and it was such a lovely moment.
I slipped out of a session that was not landing for me, walked into reception, and there he was. I said hello, expecting a quick wave, but he recognised me straight away and gave me his full attention.
It reminded me why I value the speaking community so much: warmth, presence, and generosity.
The things that really matter.
