When your body and your mind are not in sync, then what?
Infographic for Identity Dysmorphia. Identity dysmorphia is a persistent distortion or mismatch in a person’s internal sense of who they are, causing them to continue perceiving, interpreting, or behaving from an outdated identity even after their body, circumstances, abilities, roles, or life conditions have significantly changed.

Assumptions age fast. Testing them keeps your self-trust current.
Assumptions age fast. Testing them keeps your self-trust current. 1. Notice one assumption you're making about what your body "can't" do today. 2. Test it gently, in a small, safe way. 3. Write what you actually learned. Assumptions age fast. Testing them keeps your self-trust current.

HOW TO NOT GET DISTRACTED BY A SQUIRREL
How to Not Get Distracted by a Squirrel A field guide to shiny objects, scale drama, and the fine art of staying on your own path. There comes a moment in every weight-loss journey when a squirrel runs across the road. Not a real squirrel — although, frankly, those little lunatics have caused enough problems already. I mean the other kind of squirrel. The shiny thing. The new thing. The thing over in the corner that suddenly looks like the answer to every problem you have ever had. It may be the next pill, the next surgery, the next supplement, the next diet plan, the next higher dose, the next revision, the next "doctor-approved breakthrough," or the next person online announcing, "I lost 47 pounds in three weeks and all I did was drink lemon water while standing near a magnet." And just like that, your attention is gone. You were doing fine. You had a plan. You were working on your habits, your mindset, your identity, and your relationship with food. Then the squirrel showed up wearing sunglasses and holding a clipboard, and suddenly you are ready to abandon everything you know for one more shot at "finally fixing it." That is how squirrels work. They do not show up looking foolish. They show up looking like hope. The Weight-Loss Squirrel Has a Very Familiar Voice If you have struggled with weight for any length of time, you know the voice: "If I just lose more weight, I will feel better." "If I can just get the scale moving again, I will be okay." "The scale went up two pounds. Something is wrong." "I must need a revision surgery." "I probably need a higher dose." "This stopped working." "I failed again." "I am broken." That voice feels urgent. It feels convincing. It makes you believe that whatever is happening right now is an emergency. A plateau becomes a crisis. A normal fluctuation becomes a moral failure. A hard week becomes proof that you are doomed. And once that panic shows up, the squirrel starts looking very attractive. The squirrel says: "Come over here. I can fix this. Forget the plan. Forget patience. Forget the boring stuff like protein, water, walking, sleep, follow-through, emotional honesty, and not letting one bad day become a whole identity. I am shiny. I am new. I am the answer."

Identity Management: The Missing Link in the Weight Loss Industry
Begin Again - Day 7
Theme: Integration and Next Step Reading A reset is not the end of the journey. It is the beginning of a more intentional one. Over the last seven days, you noticed the drift. You named what changed. You reconnected with identity. You reduced noise. You completed a micro-win. You chose one area for realignment. Now you are ready to begin again with more clarity. Beginning again does not mean you will never drift. It means you now know how to return. You return by noticing. You return by naming. You return by remembering who you are becoming. You return by creating space. You return by taking one small aligned action. You return by reviewing what mattered. That is the rhythm of Begin Purpose. You do not need to become a completely different person. You need to come back into alignment with the person you were created, called, and capable of becoming. The question now is not, “Did I fix everything?” The better question is: “What is my next aligned step?” Reflection Points - What did I learn about myself during this reset? - What pattern do I want to continue? - What noise do I need to keep reducing? - What identity statement do I want to carry forward? - What is my next aligned step after this 7-day reset? Action Item Write your 7-Day Reset Statement. Use this format: “I am no longer drifting without awareness. I am beginning again by…” Example: I am no longer drifting without awareness. I am beginning again by choosing one aligned action each morning that supports the person I am becoming. Then choose your next step: - Repeat the 7-Day Reset - Continue into a 30-Day Identity Pathway - Join a cohort - Schedule a coaching call - Begin daily morning and evening check-ins - Choose one life area for a deeper reset Meaning Moment Review At the end of the day, ask yourself: - What part of this reset had the greatest impact on me? - What do I want to remember from this week? - What am I ready to do next? - What would it look like to live tomorrow with purpose?
