Welcome to the Hive, a hands on beekeeping community rooted in Vancouver Island, organic practices, and real hive to honey experience.
This community is led by a self taught Canadian beekeeper who began in 2018 with two hives and a desire to slow down, learn, and care for the land. What started as a personal practice became a calling that now supports thriving hives, pure raw honey, and beeswax craft.
Inside the community you will find online courses and practical lessons covering hive setup, seasonal care, bee behaviour, swarm awareness, ethical honey harvesting, beeswax processing, and candle making. Members also have access to shared learning, questions and discussion, and real world insight shaped by Vancouver Island conditions and Canadian beekeeping practices.
This space is for beginners exploring beekeeping as well as those refining their skills. If you want to learn responsibly and build a true relationship with the hive, you are in the right place.
