Good morning everyone! I wanna start doing a weekly check in every Wednesday! We’re half way through the week with a few more days to look forward to so I think this is a perfect time to do a check in!! How is everyone doing so far? Have you told yourself “I love you and you’re doing amazing” in the mirror this week? If anyone needs to talk my messages are always open and please don’t hesitate to send me a message! And if you don’t have anything you need to talk about today could you drop some kind words in the comments for everyone to hear? You never know when you may say exactly what somebody needed to hear to keep pushing through!
Last night I got to burn something that I’ve been carrying around in my mind and soul for 22 years… it was so relieving and I feel as if so much weight has been lifted off my shoulders. On this paper I wrote everything that I wanted to give to God. All of the shame, guilt, anger, and control that I’ve tried to have on my own life. If you are struggling with something, write it down, speak it out loud and then burn it. Send it to God and let Him take the wheel! I believe in all of us, and I cannot thank this group enough for surrounding me with love even when only one really knew what I was doing last night. Reading posts here, and watching the Snapchat last night made me feel less alone and I’ll forever be grateful for you all ❤️
Does anyone have that one person, friend or family, who knows when you get quiet it means you are in your head? I have one friend who's been in my life since high school (2001 grad here, so yeah I'm old, lol) that checks if she doesn't hear from me in 36 hours. We were talking about it one day and she said that she does this when I get quiet because she knows what I've gone through and what I struggle with. Recently I was pretty quiet and she messaged me saying if I didn't answer her within 5 minutes she was gonna show up at my house and knock on my window. LOL
We all have bad days, they come with life, however on those days when something ain’t going your way don’t let that define your day or week. You still showed up, you still made it through on your own two feet and with your breath in your lungs, and that makes it a good day 😊
Something I have been thinking about a lot recently is kindness. Notably, kind words. It has been something I struggled with especially if I am having a bad day, and there are a lot of them; it is so hard to compliment someone or even have a decent conversation without a tone in my voice. But over the last few months, I have made a conscious effort to say something nice to someone everyday. Be that to a friend, my boss, someone in my family or the lady at the gas station counter. In doing that, I see the joy it brings to them, in turn bringing me a sense of joy and peace. As it's said, you never know what someone is going through, and those kind words might be just what they need to turn their day around...or yours. So I encourage you to say something nice to someone today! You are all amazing!
What does self care look like to you? Self care for me is doing everything to become a better version of myself. Even doing things I dislike because I know in the back of my head that will let me be a better person to myself and to others. So, what does self care look like for you? What can you do that will give the world the best version of you?

So today started off awful, I was told my district manager was coming to help with freight. All he did was move things around in my backroom and took up space on the sales floor with pallets. I was very stressed out because I felt like my work load doubled. When I was able to leave I headed over to my part times job at assistant living home, by the time I left my part time job I felt like I was appreciated and loved.
For those of us dealing with grief this holiday season whether it’s new or not, this time of year can always be harder. Know that you’re not alone in this pain and we are all here to help, even if that means just listening while you talk about them or cry because you miss them. 💕
Who would be interested in possibly doing line? Dancing zoom calls to learn. Dances? Since line dancing is considered a form of aerobics and aerobics is considered a form of exercise which produces endorphins which helps with depression and anxiety and it doesn’t feel like exercise I feel like would be beneficial as well as getting people ready for either a Nashville trip or a Texas trip since a honky-tonk Would be on the itinerary for sure and I would want people to feel included
