Learning. Loving. Healing. Building a vocation. Recovering from a loss. Forming judgment. Creating something of worth. Earning someone's trust. Developing inner fortitude. None of those flowers in a week. Perhaps that is why it's worth turning our gaze toward an unexpected place: the desert. And, within the desert, toward one of its most silent inhabitants: the cactus.

By the end of the course, the student will be able to select, plant, water, fertilize, propagate, and maintain different types of cacti, identifying and solving common problems.
