Welcome to the community! There’s so much to see.
Let’s give this a try! Pictured below is a painting titled “The Allegory of Sight” by Jan Brueghel the Elder. In it, you can see amazing works of art and artifacts, meant to evoke the enjoyments of the sense of sight. The figures in the painting are Aphrodite or Venus, and her son, Cupid. Why Venus and Cupid are the focus of this painting is up to interpretation. Does the goddess of love live in the house of sight, or does she just pass through from time to time? There’s so much to see.
