Terrific Tuesday elite educators. I’m not sure about you guys, but I can tell you that it’s my season, It is my turn. If you know the same thing for yourself, I need you to repeat this statement right now as you’re reading it. 🙌🏽 Yeeeess ma’am. I think it’s safe to say that everyone here has experience some form internal resistance whenever you start moving in the right direction. Especially when it comes to building a brand that requires you to be more public, speak more and be more present in spaces that can help elevate you to the next level. However, you have a bit of resistance that’s not allowing you to 100% put yourself out there. Confidence doesn’t come from winging it — it comes from preparation. Write down your talking points or outline what you want to share before hitting “record” or stepping on stage.
2️⃣ Practice in Safe Spaces
Rehearse in front of the mirror, record yourself on video, or share with a small group of trusted friends. Every rep makes you sharper.
3️⃣ Shift the Focus
Take the spotlight off you and put it on service. Ask: “How can what I’m sharing help someone today?” When you focus on impact, nerves decrease.
4️⃣ Own Your Story
People don’t connect to perfection; they connect to authenticity. Share your journey, mistakes, and lessons. That transparency builds trust and confidence.
5️⃣ Power of Presence
Stand tall, shoulders back, make eye contact, and smile. Your body language signals confidence even when you’re still growing into it.
6️⃣ Network with Curiosity, Not Comparison
In rooms with people who seem “ahead,” don’t shrink back. Lead with curiosity — ask questions, listen, and seek to learn. This turns intimidation into opportunity.
7️⃣ Take Small Bold Actions Consistently
Confidence compounds. Hit “post,” say “hello,” raise your hand — even when it feels uncomfortable. The more small risks you take, the stronger your confidence muscle grows.
