THANK GOD WE MADE IT! WHHHEEEEWWWW! When I tell you 2025 hit different… life was lifing 😮‍💨 and I had to stay prayed up because some days you didn’t know if you were coming or going. But here’s the uniquely great thing about every challenge, every moment of confusion, doubt, and disappointment — every season is designed to push us into purpose 🙌🏽 And I feel that for some of us right now 💚 I told my mentees in the Elite Stylist Society: There is no elevation without frustration. 📖 Jeremiah 12:5 (NKJV) “If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses?” This scripture reminds us that if, in a season that is beneath God’s best, we are already ready to quit or throw in the towel, it will be impossible to elevate and sustain growth when greater responsibility, pressure, and purpose are required. Behind the chair is where many of us started — but it was never meant to be where we finish. There are multiple dimensions to us as beauty professionals, and education is the currency of this industry. (Yes… keep saying it until they do it.) Her is a A Quick Story that my mentor use to tell me when I was in MLM…t STORY📝 Two salesmen woke up on a rainy morning. Same weather. Same market. Same conditions. The first one said, “Ugh… it’s raining. Nobody’s going outside today. I’m staying home.” The second one said, “Oh perfect. If it’s raining, then everybody is at home — and that means I know exactly where to find them.” One saw a roadblock. The other saw an opportunity. Same rain. Different mindset. Let today be the day you choose to think like the second salesman. This season is NOT slow. This season is NOT scarce. This season is NOT the time to shrink.
