Sooooo, over the last few weeks I have been doing A LOT of research on TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) for myself, and I wanted to share some of what I've learned with you all! π€
I also want to bring you guys along on this new adventure as I officially begin my TRT journey so we can see together the potential benefits, progress, and changes along the way! πͺβ¨
A lot of people think TRT is only for men because they naturally produce more testosterone than women, but the truth is women need testosterone too! π Testosterone plays an important role in muscle maintenance, energy, recovery, mood, libido, and overall body composition.
Some common signs of low testosterone in women can include:

β¨ Difficulty building or maintaining muscle
β¨ Increased body fat
β¨ Slower recovery from workouts

β¨ Brain fog or lack of motivation

My very first step will be getting bloodwork done! π©Έβ¨ Bloodwork is so important because everyone's body is different. What works for one person may not work for another. Getting labs done helps determine if your levels are low and what a safe, appropriate starting dose may be for you.
