World Suicide Prevention Day: September 10th
Behind every person is a mess that others don't see. It's OK not to be OK. Over my life, I have had two friends and a family member commit suicide. I have known two others who did. It's OK to ask someone if they are OK. And it's OK to ask for help if you are not. My door is always open. I would rather hear your story over a cup of coffee or glass of wine, than in your eulogy. Suicide does not end the chances of life getting worse. Suicide eliminates the possibility of it ever getting better. I always have time to listen. Your life matters.
