John Winston has spent his life behind the bar, shaping the next generation of bartenders through hands-on training and real-world experience. Born out of Miami’s legendary nightlife, his career began in South Beach’s busiest clubs, where he mastered high-volume service, flair bartending, and bar management.
After years of success behind the bar, John went on to create and operate multiple bartending schools across Florida—building programs that emphasized professionalism, creativity, and performance behind the bar.
Now licensed through the Department of Education, John continues to teach with the same passion and authenticity that made him a fixture in the industry. His goal: to inspire, challenge, and prepare bartenders to thrive anywhere from local bars to world-class events.
