💞 SQUAD ROLL CALL | Let Us Meet YOU!
Aloha and happy Monday, Empresses! We're growing over here, and before we go any deeper Beneath the Bald, I want us to actually get to know the women we're growing alongside. Not just your diagnosis. Not what you do for work. Not even what brought you here. I want to meet YOU. Whether you're brand new to Baldie Brigade or you've been rocking with me for years, drop your introduction below! 📍 Where are you joining us from? 🦚 What's your #HairLossAversary or #BaldAversary? Maybe it's the date you first noticed your hair loss, received your diagnosis, shaved your head, revealed your bald head, or another date that means something to YOUR journey. If you don't have one yet, that's perfectly okay too. 🎶 What's ONE song that can instantly change your mood when it comes on? 😂 And what's something about you your Squad sisters would NEVER guess just by looking at you? Bonus if you want to go a little deeper: Before hair loss, I was __________. Now, I am becoming __________. No perfect introductions needed. Just bring yourself. I'll go first in the comments because I'm not asking y'all to tell your business without telling a little of mine too! And when you introduce yourself, take a minute to welcome another Empress. You might discover that someone hundreds of miles away has a story, personality, or experience that feels a whole lot like yours. That's how we turn a group of members into a Squad. 🤝 I love you, Empresses. I'm excited about what we're building here. ❦ Different Journeys. One Mission. Unstoppable Together. Unveil Your Crown. Embrace Your Shine. 🦚

🎁 SQUAD GIVEAWAY | SHOW UP & GROW WITH US!
Aloha, Empresses! Okayyyyy, I told y'all I wanted us to actually BUILD over here, so I'm putting a little something behind it! 😂🔥 One active Baldie Brigade Squad member is going to receive a copy of my book: 📚 Crowned Confidence: A Journey Beneath the Bald: Empowering Women with Alopecia to Shine from Within But here's the thing... I'm not looking for the person who comments the most just to win a book. 👀😂 I'm looking for an Empress who is genuinely showing up. Showing up for herself. Getting into the conversations. Sharing her perspective. Encouraging another woman. Allowing us to get to know HER. Because that's how we're going to turn this from another online community into a real SQUAD. SO HERE'S THE CHALLENGE Between now and October 10, 2026: 👋 Introduce yourself. If you haven't done our Squad Roll Call yet, go tell us who you are! And don't just give us the résumé. 😂 We want to meet the woman. 💬 Join at least 5 Squad Conversations. Share your thoughts, experiences, reflections or perspective. You don't have to write a novel, but y'all know dropping 👀 or 🔥 and running away doesn't count! 😂 🤝 Pour into at least 3 Empresses. Respond to another woman's post or comment with something thoughtful. Encourage her. Celebrate her. Let her know somebody actually HEARD what she shared. 🪴 Keep showing up. Don't do everything today and disappear until October. 😂 Come back. Participate. Let us grow together. And YES, I will be paying attention! 👀😂 But here's what matters most: You don't have to be the loudest woman in the Squad to be an active woman in the Squad. You don't have to share anything you're not ready to share. You don't have to have your confidence journey figured out. Just show up authentically. 🏆 I'll announce our winner on October 10, 2026! And Empresses, the book is really just the bonus. My bigger hope is that somewhere between now and then, you make a connection, discover something about yourself, encourage another woman, or realize: “I found my people.”

🪴 MONDAY BENEATH THE BALD | Keep Choosing You.
Aloha and happy Monday, Squad! Last week, we went Beneath the Bald. We explored what hair loss uncovered, separated our identity from our appearance, questioned old beauty rules, and ended the week with one challenge: Choose yourself. But here's where the deeper work begins. What happens when choosing yourself makes someone else uncomfortable? What happens when saying yes to yourself requires saying no somewhere else? What happens when you know what you need...but still feel guilty for needing it? Sometimes the hardest part isn't recognizing what we need. It's believing we're allowed to honor it and this goes far beyond hair. Maybe choosing yourself looks like asking for help instead of carrying everything alone. Maybe it's setting a boundary. Resting without explaining yourself. Wearing what makes YOU feel good. Walking away from something that keeps draining you. Speaking up. Starting again. Or simply refusing to abandon yourself to make everyone else comfortable. 🪴 Today's Inner Work Finish this sentence: “I know I'm choosing myself when I __________.” Then go one layer deeper: “The thing that sometimes makes that difficult is __________.” No polished answers required. We're looking for the truth. 🤝 Squad Connection Share one answer if you're comfortable and when another Empress shares hers, let's not tell her what she should do. Let's remind her that she's allowed to listen to herself. ❦ Choosing yourself once is a decision. Continuing to choose yourself is how self-trust is built. This week, we're not asking: “Do I look confident?” We're asking: “Can I trust myself not to abandon ME?” Your reveal is personal. Your confidence is not conditional. Different Journeys. One Mission. Unstoppable Together.

🦋 FRIDAY CONFIDENCE CHALLENGE | Choose Yourself
Aloha and happy Friday, Squad! We've done some real work this week. We explored what hair loss revealed beneath the surface. We reminded ourselves that our identity is bigger than our hair. And yesterday, we questioned some of the beauty rules we were taught. Today, we're putting that awareness into action. Because confidence isn't only something we think about. It's something we practice. YOUR FRIDAY CHALLENGE Today, do ONE thing that makes you feel like YOU without asking whether anyone else will approve. Maybe that means: ✨ Wear the outfit you've been saving. 💄 Put on the lipstick that makes you feel amazing. 📸 Take the picture instead of avoiding the camera. 🪞 Look at yourself without immediately searching for something to criticize. 💛 Compliment yourself without adding a “but...” afterward. 🦋 Wear your hair, wig, scarf, hat or bald head exactly how YOU choose. This isn't a challenge to prove you're confident. It's a challenge to practice choosing yourself. Before the day ends, look in the mirror and say: “I don't have to meet an old definition of beauty to recognize the woman I am becoming.” 🤝 Squad Check-In Come back and tell us: What did you choose for yourself today? Big or small, we want to celebrate it with you. And if today isn't the day you feel bold, your challenge might simply be speaking to yourself with a little more kindness than you did yesterday. ❦ Confidence isn't built by waiting until you feel fearless. It's built through the small choices that teach you it's safe to be yourself. Your reveal is personal. Your confidence is not conditional. Different Journeys. One Mission. Unstoppable Together.

💭 THE BALD TRUTH: Who Taught You What Beautiful Was?
Aloha, Squad! Before we ever looked in the mirror and decided whether we were beautiful, many of us had already been taught what beauty was supposed to look like. Long hair. Thick hair. Edges. Certain features. A certain body. And then hair loss entered the picture. Suddenly, it wasn't only our appearance that changed. Some of the beauty rules we'd carried for years were being challenged too. So today, we're questioning the rule, not the woman. 🔎 Today's Bald Truth Finish this sentence: “Growing up, I learned that a beautiful woman was supposed to __________.” Then ask yourself: Do I still believe that today...or have I simply never questioned it? You don't have to replace that belief with a perfect affirmation. Just become aware of it. Because sometimes confidence begins by realizing: That wasn't my truth. That was something I was taught. 🤝 Squad Connection If you're comfortable, share one beauty “rule” you've had to question since experiencing hair loss. No judgment. No comparison. We're making room for every woman's journey. ❦ You don't have to fit an old definition of beauty to recognize the woman you've become. Different journeys. One mission. Unstoppable together.
