Swapping from a wrist release to a thumb button

I’ve always shot with a wrist rocket/wrist, release been told I would be more steady in my grouping if I go to a thumb button would I have to change my drawing length or peep site or anything if I swap over and what do y’all believe Do you shoot better with a thumb button and if so which one do you shoot and do you know how much it was?
