Paris Level 1 February 19th
Welcome everyone to our Skool community!
We are Masa & Polina, international dance artists and educators, known for our fusion style called Bachazouk — a meeting point between Bachata, Brazilian Zouk, and Lambada, developed through years of study, practice, and teaching. Our work focuses on connecting the two worlds of Bachata and Zouk in a logical and respectful way. Rather than treating Bachazouk as a separate genre, we approach it as a fusion language, grounded in technique, musicality, body mechanics, and understanding. In our teaching, we emphasize: - Musicality and rhythm awareness - Theory: why movements work, not just how to copy them We have taught and performed across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, sharing our methodology through festivals, bootcamps, and teacher trainings. Our main educational project, Bachazouk Bootcamp, offers a structured learning path from foundations (Level 1) to advanced and teacher-level training, supported by online mentoring and curriculum-based learning.
Welcome everyone to our Skool community!

9 videos are added to deeply understand basics of bachazouk
🎉 Happy New Year, Toalhalars! 🎉We hope you’re having a wonderful New Year and a great start to the year ahead ✨ When you have some time, please visit the course platform — you’ll find the “Bachazouk Basics” 9 videos there. As many of you may already feel, learning Toalha is actually the culmination of many advanced techniques built on strong basic foundations. At this stage, I believe many of those basic techniques now make much more sense to you (Grips, Frame, circular etc). In Brazilian Zouk, dancers usually do not learn Toalha as their first movement. However, both Polina and I learned Toalha before we truly knew Zouk, and then we went back and learned the basics retroactively. Why? Because passion comes first.Passion creates consistency, and consistency naturally leads to the need for strong basics. The learning curve is not always linear.People often say “basics first, then advanced,” but sometimes focusing only on basics without reaching what you truly want to learn can feel discouraging — and in the end, people give up. This course took a slightly drastic and unconventional approach, but we hope it helped you become genuinely interested in the so-called “boring” basics of Brazilian Zouk.At this point, we believe you’ll no longer find these techniques boring at all 💙 Wishing you an inspiring and passionate year ahead — keep learning and keep shining ✨
