Hi, I’m Leigh Trupin—award-winning author and ministry founder. I had to learn the hard way that you don’t need religious rules—you need a relationship with God.
When I first came to faith, I thought church and religious expectations were the way to know God. Instead, they left me frustrated and overwhelmed—it was all too advanced for me to understand. Everyone threw Bible verses at me, but no one showed me how to connect with God personally.
I didn’t need advanced rituals; I needed a kindergarten course on how to build a one-on-one relationship with God. When personal connection comes first, everything else follows out of relationship, not obligation.
