Sometimes children have feelings that are bigger than words.
They do not always know how to explain what is happening inside.
So it comes out another way.
Through movement.Through tears.Through building.Through drawing.Through play.
Before children can speak about a feeling,they often need to express it.
A tower built and knocked down.A picture covered in purple swirls.A run around the garden.A story told through toys.
These are not distractions.
They are languages.
Today, if your child seems overwhelmed, do not rush to find the words.
Make space first.
The explanation may come later.
