Q & A with Dr Kaye
💚 FRIDAY - LOVE WITHOUT PRESSURE Sometimes children run toward us. Sometimes they pull away. Both are part of growing. A child who says, “Not now,” is not always rejecting love. They may be tired. Overwhelmed. Busy with their own thoughts. Learning who they are. Love does not disappear when there is space. In fact, it often grows there. Stay nearby. Stay warm. Stay available. A smile. A kind word. An open door. These tell a child: “I am here when you need me.” Green reminds us: Love is not holding tighter. Love is remaining present. Connection returns most easily when it is not chased. 💚 Love patiently. Love gently. Love steadily. ✨ Grandmother in your pocket. https://babeeyaga.com 🐝💚🌿✨

🟠 THURSDAY - EVERY CHILD HAS THEIR OWN RHYTHM It is easy to compare. To look at another child and wonder: “Why are they reading already?”“Why are they more confident?”“Why do they seem ahead?” But childhood is not a race. Children do not grow in straight lines. One child speaks early.Another listens deeply. One runs ahead physically.Another develops rich imagination. One blooms in spring.Another waits until summer. Growth often happens quietly, beneath the surface, long before anyone can see it. Orange reminds us: Development is not about being first. It is about becoming fully yourself. Today, look at your child with fresh eyes. Not through comparison. Not through worry. But through wonder. Who are they becoming? That is the question that matters. 🟠 Every child unfolds in their own time. ✨ Grandmother in your pocket. https://babeeyaga.com 🐝🧡✨

🟡 WEDNESDAY - LISTENING Sometimes we repeat ourselves. Again and again. We explain. We remind. We explain some more. Yet nothing seems to change. Often the problem is not that children are not listening. It is that they do not yet feel heard. Children open their ears when their hearts feel safe. A moment of attention. A genuine question. A pause before advice. These small acts create connection. And connection makes communication possible. Yellow reminds us: Being understood is often the first step toward understanding. Today, listen a little longer. Speak a little less. You may be surprised by what appears. 🟡 Communication begins with connection. ✨ Grandmother in your pocket. https://babeeyaga.com 🐝💛📚✨

🔴 TUESDAY - ACTION BEFORE CORRECTION Many parents spend the day correcting. “Stop that.”“Not like that.”“I already told you.” By the time we are correcting,we are often already late. Children do better when they know what is expectedbefore the problem begins. Show them. Practice with them. Lead them. A child who knows the pathneeds less correction along the way. Red reminds us: Strength is not loud. Strength is clear. Today, ask yourself: What expectation could I teachbefore I need to correct it? One small step taken earlycan prevent ten corrections later. 🔴 Lead first.Correct less. ✨ Grandmother in your pocket. https://babeeyaga.com 🐝❤️🔥✨
