On the fifth night, the village grows quieter.
The rush of celebration has passed, and space opens for remembering.
Esther sits at her table, candle glowing beside her, gathering the stories of the year. Not only the bright ones, but the true ones. The moments that shaped hearts. The paths that were not easy, yet mattered.
She knows that memory is a form of care.
When we remember, we honour what has been lived.
In the background, Rick restores an old classic car, patiently bringing something loved back to life. Together, they show that tending the past is also a way of preparing the future.
Tonight invites reflection.
To look back without judgement.
To notice what wants to be carried forward.
