i'm realizing how badly i dropped the ball back when i started Paradigm Karaoke almost 17 years ago.
no business plan
no financial plan
no positioning strategy
no marketing strategy
just going and doing what i do well for myself instead of sharing the money with someone else.
so now after reading a suggested book (The E Myth Revisited), which is phenomenal by the way, i realize i need to go back to the beginning and build around what i have the right way.
at the moment i'm staring at a "getting started on your business plan" worksheet from the author, page 1 of a rather thick booklet of documents and forms, and i can't fill in the first thing.
"if your business plan were to have exactly the impact you want it to have, what would that look like? Describe it: "
impact on what?
what would what look like? my plan....my business....
can anyone throw me a bone? an example or 2 of what this should look like, it feels like this is so advanced for my little business, but i know it's crucial to organize for the growth i have dreamed of.
i have seen some offerings for free coaching....as long as the business is already above $500,000 / year.
for us making less than that...it costs (make THAT make sense) and i can not afford it.
i'm damn good at what i do, i put out a far superior product compared to my competition, but i do not understand what this plan should look like in my situation to allow me to become the organization i want to be.
thanks for reading this, and any pointers and examples would be greatly appreciated.
