We’re the Avinion family, raising four boys, growing in faith, and figuring out this journey one day at a time.
For Wylie and Benson, BJJ has become a huge part of that journey. They train hard, compete often, win, lose, learn, adjust, and get back on the mats. But we’ve learned that the greatest lessons go far beyond medals.
The Journey is our place to share it all: BJJ tutorials, match breakdowns, training, competition, victories, struggles, faith, family, and lessons we’re learning along the way.
We don’t have parenting figured out, and we’re not here pretending we do. We’re simply opening our journey and inviting other families raising young athletes to walk alongside us.
BJJ is our vessel, but the mission is bigger than BJJ. Our family is rooted in Jesus Christ, but you don’t have to share our faith to join us. Everyone is welcome.
