How I would start from zero today
Hey everyone! I was having coffee with my neighbor yesterday, and she said something that really stuck with me. She asked, "If you had to start learning about AI from absolute zero today, what would you do differently?" It got me thinking about my own messy journey. I remember spending weeks diving into technical articles that went completely over my head, feeling totally overwhelmed and honestly a bit stupid. If I could go back to day one, I'd probably start by just playing around with ChatGPT for simple everyday tasks first. Maybe asking it to help me write grocery lists or explain concepts I'm curious about, rather than trying to understand neural networks right away. I'd also give myself permission to not understand everything immediately. The pressure to "get it" fast was my biggest roadblock. Looking back, the best learning happened when I stopped trying to be an expert overnight and just started experimenting with one tool at a time. For those of you just starting or thinking about starting your AI journey, what's holding you back the most right now?
