Has Anyone Worked With Local Schools

Has anyone ever worked with their local school district to connect with parents to get your book out there? If so can you share your process? I am seeing that a lot of District's in our area make it difficult to obtain email address for the complete teaching staff. My book is about a young boy with ADHD and October is ADHD Awareness month. I thought it would be a great opportunity to connect with educators and promote a fun and appropriate resource for the kids.
