I'm Matt C. Smith, a Winter Olympian who went from complete beginner to the Games in three years, starting at 32, from a country with no snow. I finished 108th. I also earned more from sponsors than most of the athletes who beat me, and none of it came from a podium. It came from a brand I built along the way.
I started Athlete Money because no one teaches athletes the part that actually pays. We're told to focus on results and hope the money follows. It rarely does. So I put everything I learned, and proved again through my Oslo Marathon challenge, into one place.
