Astronav Academy is a community for professional mariners and recreational boaters who want to build real-world maritime knowledge. Founded from decades of offshore operational experience, Astronav Academy focuses on practical seamanship, navigation, safety, leadership, and the mindset required to operate confidently on the water.
Inside the academy, members explore topics including coastal and offshore navigation, radar and electronic navigation systems, weather awareness, bridge resource management, emergency preparedness, celestial navigation, voyage planning, and practical decision-making at sea. Whether you operate offshore vessels professionally, run a small boat on weekends, or simply want to deepen your understanding of the maritime world, the academy is designed to provide useful, experience-driven training and discussion.
Astronav Academy combines traditional maritime knowledge with modern tools, helping mariners navigate with skill, confidence, and purpose.
