Start Here: Welcome to Aspiring BH CEOs! 🎉
I’m Kenya Conway, a former educator, owner of two behavioral health organizations, and founder of the Behavioral Health CEO Academy. I built my businesses from the ground up without a roadmap, clear direction, or a community of people who understood what I was trying to accomplish. And I’m still in the trenches, learning, growing, and building bigger. You’re here because something inside you said, “I could do this too.” Good. That instinct is worth exploring. Aspiring BH CEOs is a free community designed to help you understand the behavioral health business opportunity, what it takes to build an agency, and the mindset shifts that come with becoming a CEO. Here are your first three steps: 1️⃣ Introduce yourself. Tell us where you’re located, your professional or business background, where you are in your journey, and your vision for your behavioral health agency. 2️⃣ Complete the CEO Readiness Check-In. Let us know whether you are exploring, planning, launching, or already operating so we can better understand what you need. Let's us know here: https://www.skool.com/aspiringbhceos/ceo-readiness-check-in-where-are-you-in-your-journey?p=77cfe91b 3️⃣ Visit the Classroom. Begin the Behavioral Health CEO Starter Series and check the community calendar for the next live training. Ask questions. Join the conversations. Share your progress. Encourage another future CEO. This community only works when we show up and participate. This free community will help you understand what needs to be done and why it matters. When you’re ready to go all in with the step-by-step implementation process, including licensing, credentialing, hiring, Medicaid, systems, and more, the Behavioral Health Business Blueprint and the full Behavioral Health CEO Academy are designed to help you move forward with guidance and support. For now, introduce yourself below. This is your starting line. Let’s go! 👇

Aspiring BH CEOs Community Guidelines
We are building a supportive, professional community where aspiring and emerging behavioral health CEOs can learn, connect, and grow together. Please help us protect that environment by following these guidelines. 1. Lead with respect. Different members will have different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Communicate respectfully, even when you disagree. 2. Choose community over competition. Celebrate the progress of others, share encouragement, and contribute to a culture where everyone has room to grow. 3. Protect privacy and confidentiality. Do not share private client, patient, employee, business, or member information. What members share personally within the community should be treated with respect. 4. No unsolicited promotion or solicitation. Do not advertise services, send unsolicited private messages, recruit clients, or promote unrelated programs without approval. 5. Keep conversations relevant. Posts and questions should relate to behavioral health entrepreneurship, agency leadership, CEO mindset, business readiness, or the community’s scheduled activities. 6. Remember that education is not individualized professional advice. Community content is provided for general educational purposes. Licensing, legal, financial, compliance, and operational requirements may vary by state and situation. Members are responsible for verifying requirements with the appropriate agencies and qualified professionals. 7. Participate and contribute. Ask questions, attend trainings, share appropriate wins, and encourage others. This community becomes more valuable when members actively participate. Repeated violations, disrespectful behavior, spam, or inappropriate solicitation may result in content removal or removal from the community.
