Welcome to the Aspen Veteran's Project Skool Room! We're so excited you found us and have taken an interest in supporting our Veterans in a whole new, comprehensive way they've needed for generations! We look forward to sharing ideas, programs, retreats and more to assist our amazing heroes in healing, finding connection and community for life-long support. I'd like to start by introducing myself. I'm Erica "Kestryl" Angell. I've been a multi-modality healer and life coach for over 35 years. I have found great joy and satisfaction assisting Veterans after their time in service. What I discovered that led me to create the Aspen Veteran's Project was the fact that our military is amazing at created cogs in a war machine. However, our Veterans receive no assistance, training or true support as they come out of the military machine and try to find their humanity again. This struggle leads to the statistic that 29% of Veterans die by their own hand or due to complications of homelessness every day. I, for one, can't live with that statistic. They give too much to be simply cast aside after they've given their lives to their oaths of service. Oaths don't stop when the service contract does so. I invite you to participate! Introduce yourself and how you found us, as well as what we can offer you in terms of help and support! All our information here is intended to help you reach your goals and a new level of healing in your lives. Whether you were in the services yourself or are a spouse, friend or loved one of a Veteran, we welcome your participation and on-going support for these amazing men and women that so richly deserve it!
