Hi everyone. Thanks for introducing me to this group, Max. My favorite founders episode is #300 James Dyson, Against the Odds. His obsession an persistence at the beginning of his empire and desire to remain in control of it hit home for me. He was depressed, as I have been, but kept failing forward into success. His genius extends beyond engineering and design - customers have constantly been surprised at dual functions with Dyson products, that were not necessarily advertised originally. I've worked for a similar Canadian founder (ergoCentric) and noticed similarities to Dyson, at a smaller scale.
I have recently started a hybrid investment firm, S. McCord Investments Ltd. This is my life's work and combines my fascination for investing in crucial Canadian natural resources and providing growth services for somewhat antiquated public companies. Our investor awareness ecosystem is ahead of its time and applies to every early-mid stage company. Other tech and operational partnerships are on the way.
