Welcome to Ask a Mechanic PRO – How This Community Works This community is the premium extension of the Ask a Mechanic Facebook group, created for people who want direct diagnostic guidance from a working mechanic without the noise, trolling, or misinformation often found in large public groups. If you're here, you're likely dealing with a vehicle problem and want clear direction on what to check or repair next. How to Get Help If you need diagnostic help, follow these steps: Step 1: Click the Classroom tab at the top of the page. Step 2: Choose the option that best fits your situation: Quick Question – $25Best for simple questions or quick guidance. Examples:• Fluid capacities• Warning light questions• Basic troubleshooting• Confirming a repair direction Deep Diagnostic – $50For more involved problems that require deeper troubleshooting. Examples:• Electrical issues• Intermittent problems• Engine performance issues• Step-by-step diagnostic guidance Membership Option You can also choose the Ask a Mechanic PRO Membership if you'd like ongoing access to ask questions and receive guidance whenever you need help. This option is best for people working on multiple vehicles or ongoing projects. Step 3: Follow the instructions inside the section you choose to submit your question. Many people spend hundreds of dollars replacing parts trying to guess the problem. Getting proper diagnostic direction first can often save far more than the cost of asking the question. Most questions are typically reviewed and responded to within 24 hours. General Discussion The General Discussion area is open for conversation, learning, and sharing experiences. However, diagnostic questions should be submitted through the Classroom options so they can be reviewed and handled properly. If you're tired of guessing, replacing random parts, or chasing problems without direction, this community is designed to help you diagnose problems correctly and move toward a real solution. Thanks for being here.
