Welcome Michelle!
The Ask Lynne community is so happy to have you with us Michelle. Please check out the Welcome! Start Here micro course in the classroom. There is a poll you can contribute to as well. The ABCs of Health is our living resource and the centerpiece of the community. When you ask a health question of any kind, the answer is posted there in definition form so that we all can benefit from common experiences. It's patient education built together, one question at a time. If you prefer your health questions to be answered in private, please DM me. Your personal information will never be shared. 💚 It's Safe to Ask Here.
Welcome Michelle!
🎉 Big milestone for Ask Lynne — we just hit 20 members!
What started as a small idea has grown into a real community of people helping each other make sense of confusing diagnoses, bloodwork, and everything in between. Health information shouldn't feel like a foreign language, and every question asked here helps someone else feel less alone in figuring theirs out. Here's to the next 20, 200, and beyond — as we keep breaking down the jargon and helping more people walk into their doctor's appointments feeling informed and confident. 💙 How Can I Help More? Reach out if I can help you more. Quick questions and topic ideas are always welcome. If you want a private conversation, DM Lynne Vella and your questions and answers will remain private if that is your preference. 💚 It's Safe to Ask Here.

GOING PUBLIC 🌍
I'm excited to share that Ask Lynne: Health Educator is opening up to be indexed and discovered beyond Skool. 𝐌𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲. Right now, so much of what we've built here — the ABCs of Health, plain-language explanations of diagnoses, blood work, and medical terminology — only reaches the people already inside this community. Going public means more people searching for answers about their own health can find real patient education and start building health literacy, not just noise. This is about reach, not change. The free general education stays free, and the community stays the same safe space it's always been. If something ever feels too personal to ask in the open, you can always DM me (Lynne Vella) directly, and it stays between us. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞? Reach out if I can help you more. Quick questions and topic ideas are always welcome. Building Out Ask Lynne
As we work on structuring our community's week a little bit, behind the scenes we are working on 2 new resources in the Ask Lynne: Health Educator Classroom. 1. Ask Lynne's ABCs of Lab Tests — the next living resource to be added to the community for blood work results and other serum testing. 2. A new micro-course on types of imaging, how they work, and what they are used for. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐛 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 will be similar to the ABCs of Health. It will define lab test results for you and what they are used for. A list of lab tests from A to Z has already been added. An example: C — CBC (Complete Blood Count): Measures red cells, white cells, and platelets; used to check for anemia, infection, and overall blood health. When you ask for help understanding a blood test, it will be added to the resource or expanded upon if already there. The resource will grow as you ask questions, thus helping other members in our community as well. 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞: 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐗-𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐂𝐓𝐬 & 𝐌𝐑𝐈𝐬 — will describe the imaging options your providers have, how they work, and what they are commonly used for. Building out Ask Lynne is all about furthering your understanding of your health information. If you have suggestions for courses or resources that might be helpful to you, and thus the community as a whole, please let me know. How Can I Help More? Reach out if I can help you more. Quick questions and topic ideas are always welcome. If you want a private conversation, DM Lynne Vella and your questions and answers will remain private if that is your preference. 💚 It's Safe to Ask Here
