- Who you are speaking with (role, not name)
- What changed (silence, pushback, tone shift, delay)
- What you said or did just before the issue
- What you think this signal might mean
Examples of valid use:
- Buyer stopped replying after exclusivity discussion
- Partner says “we will review internally” for 3 weeks
- Distributor agreed verbally but avoids written confirmation
