Ash & Oak Press isn't a solo mission; it’s a partnership forged in a lifelong fight for survival. We are moving from the ashes of our past toward a professional publishing future where our voices stand tall. ​Mariah (The Scout): I hold a degree in Culinary Arts and am currently pursuing my BA in Creative Writing with a minor in Psychology. I utilise the science of human behaviour to incorporate "Psychological Fortification" into our narratives while reclaiming our culinary heritage. ​Anna (The Architect): My "little sister" by choice and oldest friend. She is a veteran of the writing craft and our lead researcher, specialising in the lethal politics of the Tudor era, to ensure our stories are authentic and commercially viable. ​The Mission: Anna is fighting to relocate 500 miles to Tennessee to be the "hands and feet" we need. She’s ready to help my Mum—who is also a trained chef—get back to the stove and support the foundation we are building together. ​We are treating this as a business from Day One to get our family off assistance forever.
