- What do we need to know this week? Reversed King of Cups, with a clarifying card of the Reversed Ten of Pentacles
- What do we need to do this week? The Star
- What chakra should we focus on this week? The Root Chakra
- What spirit animal can we connect with or learn from this week? The Giraffe
Let’s bring this all together. But first, I want to say that when I was shuffling the chakra cards, I noticed the Physical Health card and had a little chuckle, as I basically envisioned this card and how I could put it out there for us to see tastefully. Then I shuffled, shuffled, shuffled - and that same exact card jumped out. SMH. So… you will see that she is wearing a tasteful green bikini, hand-designed by yours truly. HA!
The other aspect here is that The Star card also came out. Both are nude (a sign of vulnerability), but also comfortable in their own skin - healing, healthy, lovely, and perfect just as they are.
So let’s get into this week’s message:
This week, we may be feeling a bit frayed or overly emotional (the Reversed King of Cups). This may relate to home life, community, or earth-related needs (a roof over your head, food on the table), though I see this more around community and feeling ungrounded. When the King of Cups is in his highest polarity, he is calm, grounded, and able to face any emotional storm with steadiness. In reverse, we may feel shaken to our core and react with anger or sadness. This card reminds us to respond, not react. If something really gets to you this week, take a personal time-out, add in some breathwork, and then return to the situation.
What do we need to do this week? Focus on our own healing and health - mind, body, and soul - and remember that we cannot give from an empty space. We need our rest, boundaries, healthy habits, and balance.
The Root Chakra card of Physical Health, along with The Star, says it clearly: ground, balance, and focus on yourself. Take a moment to research the Root Chakra and its importance.
And for fun - and learning - and as a gentle reminder from this reading: remember there is always a bigger picture at play. You can hear, see, feel, and know many things, but you can’t know every speck of data. This is where trust and faith come in.
The 5 in the Root Chakra card = Change (in numerology). If you can focus in on your well being this will help change the narrative a bit in your daily life.
Ohhhh - one final piece - the bird in The Star card - is confirmation of the Giraffe as well - Bigger Picture. We are getting a lot of confirmations in this week's reading!!
May this week be gentle on your soul and should you find yourself a little torn/upset/ungrounded, may you find time to nourish your mind, body and soul.
