Ollie Doing Spot!

Ollie and I worked on spot tonight! I’m a little rusty with the littles because we haven’t had one in the house in a bit and it showed in this video but I got it together eventually! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

Things I would change after watching the video back:

I forgot to block the spot with my foot 🤦🏼‍♀️
I kept going in front of the camera so you couldn’t see Ollie lol
Could’ve probably lined him up better a few times
I wasn’t sure what command to use to get him off the spot so I just kinda encouraged him off of it? What should I be using?
I didn’t lure as much as I probably should have, and didn’t always have treats immediately in hand so I had to fish for them. My treat pouch fell off at work today and is MIA so plastic bag in the pocket was tonight’s solution 🤦🏼‍♀️

Things that went well:

Once he figured out the game, he was ALL about it - when he saw me putting the Zuke’s and food in a plastic bag he got SO excited and was trying to get to me from on the lanai with my dad 🤣 He really CAN do anything through Zuke’s hahaha
He listened to other obedience pretty well and chilled out when I had him sit to get him back to listening instead of “oh my gosh FOOD!!” mode
He had lots of good 2 front feet on the spot!

Bonus win for Atlas: He stayed in a down & stay the whole time I was training Ollie and didn’t try to come interrupt or show off lol
