When we're in conflict we might not realize how we usually slip into one or a variation of FIVE STYLES:
• AVOIDANT: "I don't want to deal"
• ACCOMMODATING: "I am willing to deal the way you want"
• COMPROMISING: "I am willing to deal by adjusting some of my needs"
• COMPETITIVE: "My needs are the only thing I want to deal with"
• COLLABORATING: "we can make new solutions together to deal with"
Depending on the situation and person sometimes the efforts might be different. But all forms of styles are applicable for anyone to use. If you knew there were other methods and styles to deep with a conflict, would you take it?
