The Studio, an Artist Professional Development Series, is a self-paced course for creatives who want to build sustainable practices. Original designed as a safe space to learn for Black creatives, Black queer creatives, underserved & under-resourced artists of color we welcome all artists searching for support. Created by a full-time multidisciplinary artist, this program is rooted in lived experience, trial & error, and years of navigating funding opportunities from both sides of the table as an artist, grant writer and reviewer, clearing over six-figures in grants & funded projects.
The course covers core tools creatives are often expected to have, but rarely taught clearly: artist resumes, bios & statements, portfolios, grant writing understanding and the point of it all. The tools you'll learn here are treated as working drafts, not final products, meant to evolve as your practice grows. Sustainability over perfection or hustle.
