Week 1 at home progress

AJ had his first class this past Wednesday! So far the training at home has gone amazing. He grasped the concepts surprisingly well, but more importantly, he has been loving to show off lol!

He may need a quick reminder at the start of the walk, but then after that, he is impeccable… looking at my knee and checking in on me constantly to make sure he doesn’t leave the square.

His “place” command has really come together today. We are now able to place him pretty much anywhere we like on the first command. He auto-sits when he gets on and wont get off until I give him the “free!” command. Not even if I walk out of the room or start petting our other dog. In fact, today, while sitting on the living room tv stand, he didn’t even jump when the doorbell went off… thats UNHEARD of from him.
