The Sinister, Hidden mistake, we all make.
A big mistake many of us are guilty of is overestimating what we can do in the short term and underestimating what we can do in the long term.
I know when I focus on the DAILY wins,
The weekly, monthly wins just occur by default.
Example, choosing not to eat junk food, hitting the gym or your steps for the day, completing 2 deep work sessions, complimenting someone... Those are the wins that count and compound.
Do as many of those every day as you can, and your life "magically" gets better.
