Drafting: in house vs. outsourcing

I've made a career of being a freelance drafter that worked for many architects and interior designers, but it's been a few years since I have been doing, so not sure what the market is looking like now.

I've talked to a few people in my community and on LinkedIn, and a common thing I'm hearing is that there are not many opportunities out there as an outsource CAD drafter. I'd like to figure out a way that I can help them, but not sure about the market.

This is a great group of practicing architects here, so I thought I would pose the question to you, so I made a poll about it.

If you are not using outsource CAD services, what is keeping you from doing so?

Are you worried about losing control of you project? Drafting costs getting too high?
