The last two weeks have been crazy! Thank you AI :)
My last update before I go on holiday tomorrow and properly disconnect in the forest in Lithuania. Don't worry, I will be back in early August if you have any questions or need support. In just the last two weeks I designed and built the foundations of a full AI-enabled business system: - A complete masterclass sales funnel - A custom CRM - Automation sequences - An official Markitect business website connected to the funnel - My personal brand website, finally (but still needs some tweaks when I get back) - A public speaking trailer on my personal site (created by Claude Code) - The MVP of my Steady Sleep app, now live as a PWA on my phone for beta testing Alongside the building, my AI brain and Claude Fable helped pressure test my offers, business plan for the next 8 months, scalability plans, AI agent strategy, websites, app, privacy/data choices and more. One of my favourite side builds was Steady Sleep: a local-first morning recovery and nightmare tracking app, based around gentle check-ins, pattern tracking and Imagery Rehearsal Therapy. It still needs more beta testing, but it is a brilliant learning project and a very meaningful one for me personally. The bigger build was the Markitect AI sales organisation: from a diagram to a tested funnel, locked-down CRM, email engine with human approval gates, booking pipeline, dashboard, automation workflows, documentation and a realistic 9-month plan. Plus a weekly scheduled prompt that checks the security across all of my systems. Very nice. **Check out the picture - a demo dashboard of my funnel! This has been a huge amount of work, but also one of the clearest examples I’ve experienced of what’s possible when AI becomes a real thinking and building partner. Now I’m off to rest, reset and spend time in the forest. I hope you are having a great summer! Keep chasing your dreams ☺️ Architect Anna

This Heatwave Needs to End - Troubleshooting Tech overheating
I got up at 4:30 this morning to try and film some new podcast episodes and the masterclass for my sales funnel before it got too hot in England (we are in another heatwave! And most residential buildings in England do not have AC) but even at 5am my camera still overheated and was super glitchy. So I spent 90 minutes troubleshooting what to do and how to fix it. I thought I had already done the fixes after this happened last week when the the video recording ruined two podcast episodes (one I released anyway ep 17) one I tried to rerecord today (it sort of failed, but I'm keeping it). I restarted my computer, had all other tabs closed, checked everything was plugged in correctly, but still! So lessons learned from this morning: - For a Canon EOS mirrorless M50 Mark 2 camera you can also open up the back screen and in the settings turn the screen off to allow more heat from the body of the camera to be released. - You can pause filming and fan the camera or turn it off between takes if you are filming smaller amounts to cool it down - The current way I have been using my camera is not suitable for hot weather. That being with the Canon EOS webcam utility software, which up until last week has been fine. - So I had to upgrade my system and get an Elgato Cam Link and corresponding HMDI cable for my camera (£94 together) 😪but this should provide much more stable, high quality footage, and keep the camera much cooler. It arrives tomorrow and then I will have another go. Fingers crossed, nothing else is wrong. Sometimes things are going to hold back your business and progress (like the weather, tech, your living situation, your finances, your connections), but if you can troubleshoot your way to a solution amazing, and if you have to make small purchases here and there, so be it. I'm hoping this upgrade will mean fewer recording headaches, better outputs and peace of mind. Has the heat affected your work? Feel free to leave a little rant in the comments 😁

Let's talk about sales
I get a lot of questions about sales and I've been designing an optimised sales funnel for a while now and I'm hoping I can push myself to start testing it out soon, but I figured why not give you guys a sneak peak into how it would work in case it will be helpful for your business. Okay first off sales funnels are only really useful if you are starting to or wanting to sell at scale, so if you're not at that stage yet, don't stress yourself out. I started my business over three years ago and only feel like maybe now is the time to really push things to the next level. My special sales funnel (currently in theory, testing soon) Step 0 - Be constantly present on social media building my trust and authority (in progress) Step 1 - Create/advertise a highly engaging, high value, curiosity driven live masterclass (30-60 minutes) This will be for free, targeting my ideal clients, they are the top clients I want all the way at the end of this funnel, but you will get a lot of other people coming through that might not be as much of a qualified lead. Sales is a numbers game. I will use organic reach and paid ads to get people signed up to the masterclass and reminders to have them show up. I have not been great with email marketing in the past, but that is also something I want to improve this year. Step 2 - Run the masterclass and tell people there will be a bonus gift for people that stay to the end (and also need to be on the live call, this will help in the messaging ahead of the call to increase show up rate) The bonus gift will be an AI diagnostic prompt to help them identify their personal and business weak points and where AI could be most valuable as well as identifying the opportunity cost of what would happen if they were to delay taking action (this will create a bit of urgency which will be important later) Step 2.5 - At the end of the masterclass along with the AI diagnostic prompt, give them a second bonus (always trying to overdeliver) and invite people to book a free 30 minute AI diagnostic call with me (this is a sales call, but there are lots of names for sales calls now because people do not want to be sold to, but they do want their problems solved and are willing to pay for the solutions. Other names for sales calls you might have heard of; A discovery call, a strategy call, an intro call, a consultation etc)
Halfway Point
Time flies right! How are we already half way through 2026? 🤔 How are you getting on with your annual goals? I personally did not hit my 6 month targets, but that's okay, there is still plenty of time to finish the year strong. Rather than focus on what you might not have accomplished yet, focus on the amazing things you have done so far this year! Maybe you had some unexpected events, good or bad that changed the speed or trajectory of your plans. That is totally okay. Whenever I make plans I expect them to change. Some things I planned are further behind than I'd hoped and some things are further ahead than I'd imagined. Who knows what will happen between now and the end of the year. A lot can change in just a few short months, so really anything is possible. Happy end to Q2 and here's to Q3! Good luck! What is one thing you'd like to push forward in the next quarter of the year and do you need any support? Architect Anna
