Sharing my experience
I got really excited after learning new things here, and I immediately started working on a new app.
Now I'd love to share my experience of building it with all of you!
The app is based on the keyword **“posture reminder.”**
I submitted it to Apple for review yesterday, so it’s not live yet, but I’m excited to see how it performs once it’s released!
Here are a few things I noticed during the keyword research process:
1. There are lots of apps with “posture” in the name, but not many with the full phrase “posture reminder.” In hindsight, I probably should’ve also checked the subtitles.
2. I chose a topic that people care about all year round—like “drink water” kind of needs, rather than something seasonal.
3. The recent trend for the keyword was going up, which looked promising.
Though now that I look again, the spike was maybe a bit *too* sharp—something with a steadier growth might’ve been better.
I built the app using **Flutter** and **Cursor**, since I haven’t studied Swift.
It’s **iOS-only**, **ad-free**, includes a **rating prompt and paywall after onboarding**, and is available **only in English** (I’m Japanese, by the way!).
This is my first time trying all of these things.
I relied on AI quite a bit and focused on moving fast.
Honestly, I don’t think my app is super high quality—but that’s exactly why keyword strategy and the lessons I learned here matter so much.
Once I get some results, I’ll share an update!
Hope my experience can be helpful for others here too 😊
