Welcome to The Apprentice Guide: Building the Foundation for Success in Construction.
This orientation is designed to prepare new apprentices for the behavioral expectations of a real jobsite.
Trade school teaches theory.
This course focuses on jobsite readiness:
Work ethic
Communication
Initiative
Preparedness
Professional conduct
The goal is to help you become someone your foreman can rely on, trust, and invest time into teaching.
Complete the Orientation Module before your first day on site, or within your first two weeks of employment.
Once completed, you will have a clear understanding of:
What is expected of you on a jobsite
How to communicate effectively with your crew
How to stay productive throughout the day
What behaviors to avoid
How to build trust with leadership early
Proceed to the Orientation Module to begin.
