My Experience with Retatrutide (Personal Journey)
I wanted to share my personal experience with retatrutide for anyone curious about real-world results.
This is strictly my own experience — not dosage advice or cycle recommendations.
  • Starting Point
I started on October 7th at 224.7 lbs, alongside a locked-in diet and a dialed-in training program.
My progression looked like this:
  • 1 mg per week for 6 weeks
  • 2 mg per week for 2 weeks
  • 3 mg per week for 6 weeks
  • 4 mg per week as my maintenance level (this is where I felt best)
I ran this from October 22nd to January 4th.
Total loss during that time: 41 lbs
I averaged roughly 4–6 lbs per week.
* 1 mg Phase (Intro Stage)
I started at 1 mg because I was honestly nervous.
After about two weeks:
  • Food noise decreased slightly
  • Hunger was still present
  • Weight loss felt slow
  • Effects felt minimal
Looking back, 1 mg is a good introductory amount for maybe the first 2–3 weeks just to see how your body reacts. Staying there longer didn’t personally do much for me.
In hindsight, I probably stayed here too long.
* 2 mg Phase
This is where things started to click.
What I noticed:
  • Much better appetite suppression
  • No snacking cravings
  • Eating meals normally and feeling satisfied
  • Consistent fullness
  • Gym energy stayed solid
One downside I noticed:
Mornings felt groggy / lower energy right after waking up
That could be a dealbreaker for some, but once I later introduced other peptides, this improved. For this post though, I’m keeping it strictly about retatrutide.
* 3 mg Phase
At 3 mg, fat loss really accelerated.
This is when I consistently saw:
  • Strong appetite control
  • Steady weekly weight drops
  • Much easier adherence to dieting
  • Less mental struggle around food
I was deep into a cut at this point, and despite eating less and less, I maintained a surprisingly good amount of strength.
Yes — lifts went down eventually, but I was also in photo shoot prep / aggressive fat loss, so that was expected.
* 4 mg Maintenance
4 mg became my personal sweet spot.
This is where I felt:
  • Best overall appetite control
  • Most consistent energy
  • Strong fat loss without feeling wrecked
  • Better day-to-day functionality
This level felt the most balanced for me.
Overall Results
From October 22nd to January 4th:
  • 41 lbs lost
  • Maintained a solid amount of muscle
  • Strength held better than expected
  • Diet adherence became dramatically easier
Retatrutide genuinely felt life-changing!
A lot of people are already training hard and eating right but hit plateaus no matter what they do. For me, this provided that extra push my body needed to drop fat while preserving muscle.
Pros (My Personal Experience)
  • Much less food noise
  • Reduced hunger
  • Faster fullness
  • Sustained feeling of being satisfied
  • Easier long gaps between meals
  • Less mental obsession with food
Made aggressive cutting far more manageable
Not constantly watching the clock waiting for the next meal was huge.
* Final Thoughts
This was a game-changer for me personally. I’ve recommended it to many people simply because of how dramatic the difference was in my own journey.
Again — this is personal experience only, not dosing advice or protocol guidance.
