🧠 UNIT 1 BRAIN TEASER: Same Ingredients, Different Result
Scientists produce two polypeptides, X and Y. Both are the same length and contain exactly the same number and types of amino acids. However, the amino acids occur in a different sequence. Under identical conditions: - Polypeptide X shows 100% relative binding to a target molecule. - Polypeptide Y shows only 8% relative binding. Which statement best explains the difference? 💬 Choose your answer and add one sentence of biological reasoning. A letter by itself does not count!

📘 Unsure About a Workbook Answer? Just Ask!
If you’re unsure about any question in the workbook, you’re welcome to post it in the community or send me a private message through Skool Chat. If you message me privately, I can post the question anonymously so we can also see what the community thinks. Just include the Unit, question number, and your attempted answer, and I’ll help you work through the reasoning. Don’t be afraid to ask — understanding why an answer is correct is much more important than simply getting it right. 🧬
