You stopped training the day you retired
For years, training was the job.
Then you retired, went into business, and training became the first thing to go.
Too busy. Too tired. Tomorrow.
Most former former pro's I talk to are carrying the same things: old injuries that ache every morning, sleep that never really recovers, a few more drinks than they'd like, and no structured training at all.
That's load. And it's load nobody is tracking anymore.
As a pro, the physio and S&C staff would have flagged it in a week.
In business, it just piles up quietly until something gives.
Three questions worth answering honestly this week:
1. When did you last train with a plan, not just to burn off stress?
2. Which old injury is affecting your work, your sleep or your mood?
3. When did you last see a physio or a GP about it? Your body was your business for years.
It's still the engine of the one you run now.
