🌿🐾 This Week’s Summer Challenge: Garden Agility!
Let’s have some summer holiday fun with our dogs! ☀️
This week’s challenge is to build a mini agility course using things you already have at home.
You could use:
🌼 Plant pots to weave around
🪑 Chairs to create a tunnel (with a blanket over the top)
🧹 A broom balanced on books for a low jump
🧺 A washing basket to go around
🟢 A towel or mat to practise a “pause” or “stay”
You don’t need expensive equipment—the aim is to have fun and spend quality time with your dog!
🧒 Bonus Challenge for Kids
Children can help:
- Design the course.
- Guide the dog through each obstacle.
- Cheer on Mum, Dad, grandparents… or even race against them to see who gives the clearest cues!
Remember to keep jumps low, never force your dog over an obstacle, and make everything safe and positive. If your dog isn’t confident with something, simply adapt it or skip it.
📹 How to Take Part
Post a photo or video of your dog’s agility course and let us know:
🐶 Which obstacle they loved the most.
😂 Which one made everyone laugh.
⭐ What they found the trickiest.
🏆 I’ll be looking out for:
- Creativity
- Teamwork
- Happy, confident dogs
- Great handler encouragement
The goal isn’t speed or perfection—it’s about building your dog’s confidence, strengthening your bond, and making some fantastic summer holiday memories together.
Ready… set… GO! 🐕💨
