My Communique Quilt Pattern
I love working with fabric. It's one of the few traditional arts that has an undo button (seam rippers anyone?). But weirdly, I have more fun designing the layout of my quilts than actually doing the sewing. That is probably why it takes me so long to finish my quilts.
This particular quilt started out being designed as a throw quilt, but I ended up expanding the design to king-size. Once it was finally pieced, I sent it off to be quilted, and it gets used for extra layers every winter.
Do you work from published patterns or make your own?
