Christmas Eve
Merry Christmas Eve 🤍 Tonight, we pause. Under a quiet sky… A single star shines. Shepherds leave the fields. Heaven meets earth. Christmas Eve reminds us that God came close. Not in noise or perfection, but in humility, love, and promise. If your heart feels full tonight, rejoice. If your heart feels heavy, rest here. You are seen. You are known. You are deeply loved. May the peace of Christ settle over your home. May hope be reborn in places that feel weary. May you remember… Emmanuel. God with us. From our Anchor to God family to yours… Merry Christmas Eve. May His light guide you tonight and always ✨🙏

The Reason for the Season ...
As Christmas draws near, may we gently shift our hearts back to the true reason for this season. Not the noise. Not the pressure. Not the perfection. But the miracle. Jesus. A newborn King, wrapped in humility, born into a world that desperately needed hope. Light entering the darkness. Love taking on flesh. Peace stepping into chaos. This season can still hold many emotions for people. Joy for some. Grief for others. Hope mixed with hardship. And that is why the message of His birth matters so deeply. He came for all of it. For the broken. For the weary. For the rejoicing. For the searching. So as we decorate, gather, give, and celebrate, let us remember who this is really about. Let our kindness be a reflection of Him. Let our generosity point back to Him. Let our conversations be filled with His love. If you are in a season of abundance, give with a joyful heart. If you are in a season of need, receive knowing God sees you.And in every season, may we all pause to worship the One who came to save. Scripture for this season:“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.” Isaiah 9:6 May our hearts stay anchored in the miracle of His birth.May our homes be filled with His peace. And may our lives always point back to Jesus.

My Heart is so Full...
Anchor to God Family… my heart is so full today. We had the privilege of serving over 100 Christmas food boxes in the Frazee community, and it was one of those holy, humbling days that reminds you exactly why we stay anchored to God… especially in this season. As we went home-to-home, praying with families, hugging people, listening to their stories, and hearing their testimonies… God’s presence was unmistakable. You could feel Him in the tears, the gratitude, the quiet strength, and even in the heaviness that some families are carrying right now. Moments like these open our eyes in a powerful way. We’re reminded that while we may live comfortably or feel sheltered in our routines, there are people around us facing real needs, real struggles, and real battles… yet still holding onto hope. And that is the heart of this season. Not the gifts. Not the hustle. Not the to-do lists. But love. Service. Compassion. Christ. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”Mark 10:45 Today was a beautiful reminder that when we serve, we reflect His heart. When we give, we shine His light. And when we slow down enough to see people the way He sees them… everything changes. I’m grateful our church cultivates days like this, and grateful to be part of a community like Anchor to God that chooses to live out the Gospel, not just talk about it. May this season draw us closer to the true meaning of Christmas and keep our hearts anchored firmly to Him. 🤍 Feeling humbled. 🤍 Feeling grateful. 🤍 Feeling renewed in purpose. Love you all.

Merry Christmas!! 🎄
As we move closer to Christmas… I want to gently remind us that this season can feel very different for each person. For some, it’s full of joy, laughter, lights, and celebration. For others, it’s heavy. It can carry grief, loneliness, financial stress, strained relationships, or memories that hurt a little more this time of year. Both can exist at the same time. If you’re in a season of joy, thank God for it. Celebrate. Share love freely. If you’re in a season of quiet or pain, know you are not alone. God sees you. He is close to the brokenhearted. Let’s be gentle with one another. Let’s pray more, judge less, and love deeper. And above all, let’s remember the true reason for the season. The birth of Jesus. Hope came into the world. Light stepped into darkness. Grace wrapped itself in human form. 🙏 If you feel led, drop a prayer below. For yourself. For someone else. For this community. We are better when we carry each other. 💛
